Who We Are

For over 70 years, we have supported local charitable organizations by bringing neighbors together through community events and giving.

Flossmoor Service League is a women-led volunteer organization located in south suburban Flossmoor whose mission is to assist others in need, particularly in helping to provide basic human services through local charitable organizations and other not-for-profit organizations based in the south suburbs of Chicago.

Flossmoor Service League is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation and donations are tax deductible.

Founded in 1955, we’ve spent seven decades raising funds, volunteering time, and supporting neighbors across the south suburbs—with care, consistency, and strong community partnerships.

Our members plan and support our major fundraisers and maintain close connections with the charitable organizations we serve across the south suburbs. Members are deeply engaged in our events, grantmaking efforts, and ongoing community partnerships.

What do members do?

  • Plan and support two major fundraisers: the December Candlelight Ball and the May HouseWalk, along with other events such as Light Up the Night. Fundraising

Yes. Flossmoor Service League is a registered 501(c)(3). Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
